Quick Guide

How to connect M821 Communication Adapter?

1. Connect Xtool device & KC501 via USB;

2. Connect Mercedes Benz IR emulator with KC501;

3. Disconnect OBD2 connector from the main cable, connect Xtool device(or VCI box) with M821 Adapter by main cable;

4. Use 12V power supply to main cable;

5. Connect EIS/EZS module with M821 Adapter by J1K02_BENZ_cable.

Note: 

*Please check wiring diagram in Xtool device when connecting M821 Adapter & EIS/EZS module via J1K02_BENZ_cable.

*The Mercedes Benz IR emulator should insert into the slot of the module when operating.

*For device with a VCI box, connect 821 Adapter with VCI box by main cable, keep VCI box connected with the device via Bluetooth. More details can check in device when connection.

What Tools Recommended to Program Hyundai Creta Key?

Both XTOOL X100 PAD3&Xhorse VVDI MINI OBD Tool are able to successfully program Hyundai Creta via OBD with ease. Among them, X100 PAD3 covers a wider range of car models while VVDI MINI OBD Tool is much affordable. 

However, below we’re showing the Hyundai Creta key programming procedure for reference. Including password reading & key learning.

Program Hyundai Creta smart key via XTOOL X100 PAD3

Plug XTOOL X100 Elite cable into OBD2 port, press

Diagnosis >> HYUNDAI >> Agree >> Security/ Authorization code >> 8A authorization code(smart card)

Scanner has to be connected to Internet to complete the operation.

Switch ignition OFF.

Security code has read out. It’s 479342.

Program immobiliser/ remote >> Select from type >> Smart key system >> General >> Type 6(without card slot)

Press START button.

Press “Program smart keys”.

Turn off the ignition switch.

Input the security code.

Put smart key vertically close to the START button, and press START button.

Program success.

Press “Yes” to continue, press “No” to complete.

Test the keys, all are workable.

Done.

Program Hyundai Creta(-2007) AKL via Xhorse MINI OBD Tool

Xhorse VVDI MINI OBD Tool can program Hyundai Creta(-2007) when all keys lost.

Plug VVDI MINI OBD Tool into OBD, press

Immo programming >> Hyundai >> Read pin code >> Before 2007 model use(6 bit) >> Start execution

Switch ignition off, then ON.

Whether to learn the key? Yes

Insert the key to be learned and switch ignition to ON.

The key has successfully learned.

Test the key.

It can normally start the car.

Done!
